Storytelling + Narrative
Using narrative to make ideas understandable—and experiences meaningful.
Storytelling has been the connective tissue across nearly every phase of my career.
Sometimes that has meant literal stories: broadcast, entertainment, animation, motion graphics, interactive media, the Academy Awards, ABC, MTV, and experiential environments.
Sometimes the story is spatial: how someone moves through a building, venue, interface, or virtual environment.
Sometimes it is strategic: taking fragmented research, emerging technology, competing possibilities, and complex systems and constructing a narrative that allows teams and leaders to understand not just what an idea is, but why it matters.
Increasingly, narrative is also becoming part of the product itself.
