IntelligenT Experiences
Designing systems that understand context and experiences that make that intelligence useful.
My work with intelligent systems didn’t begin with generative AI.
At BjöndHealth, I helped design adaptive healthcare experiences that transformed variable data inputs into personalized workflows.
Problems, goals, tasks, and barriers became components of a nonlinear system that could respond to changing individual needs.
The underlying model was already familiar:
Signals → Rules → Context → Personalized Experience → Intervention → Outcome
Today, AI fundamentally expands what is possible within that model.
At Comcast, my work has progressed from conversational AI and Future of Voice into XOS, Content Engineering, agentic experiences, contextual intelligence, personalization, memory, proactive assistance, and AI evaluation.
Increasingly, the design challenge isn’t simply what an intelligent system can do. It’s deciding what it should understand, what it can reasonably infer, when it should intervene, how confidently it should act, and how its intelligence becomes understandable to the person using it.
Recent evaluation work extends that question into measurement: defining dimensions of intelligent behavior, establishing human ground truth, developing custom evaluators, stress-testing agent responses, diagnosing failures, and connecting evaluation results back to system and experience design.
